After many earlier assignments and cooperations with Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, Thomas was assigned to deliver an appropriate digital file to be printed on the 11x3 meter back wall of the bank's new office in Sogndal. After some suggestions and pitching different possibilities, Thomas told them that he was simultaneously working on artwork for Blix Hotell in Vik i Sogn, and that one of the images he was about to shoot for the hotel could also fit perfectly for the bank's need.
After clarifying with the hotel that the work shot for the hotel's decoration also could be sold to the bank without conflicting with anyone's interest, Thomas started with the production of the yet to be shot image. One day afterward the result was there, and sent right away to the company responsible for the physical production and assembly of the print. In the mean while, Thomas had a close dialogue with the entrepreneur who was building the office, to make sure there where no elements like electricity, buttons and heating-controls on the wall that could disturb the image if they where placed in unfortunate spots in the print.
